The BRSCC NW Dinner Dance was held on Saturday, February 27th at the Park Royal Hotel, Stretton when drivers, officials and marshals met to celebrate the 2015 season. The evening started with the Formula Ford awards. National, Northern & Champion of Oulton trophies were presented by BRSCC Competiton Director, Dominic Ostrowski, before Annette Freeman of Anglesey Circuit stepped forward to present the Star of Anglesey accolades. The presentation of the racing awards was concluded by Dave Faiclough distributing the XR Challenge silverware. There then followed a very pleasant meal superbly served by the team from Park Royal. After the dining, the marshals’ awards were presented by BRSCC Chairman, Bernard Cottrell. Mike Cadwallader, Chairman of the BMMC’s Northern Region, was announced as the Marshal of the Year while Michelle Henesy accepted the Lady Marshal of the Year trophy. Before the dancing got underway we had the tombola with numerous prizes accrued by our Chief Assembly Area marshal, Graham Lindley. The evening was completed by Rob Nickson’s excellent disco.
